Roger Taylor is a seasoned marine finishes specialist renowned for his expertise in tailored coatings and paints designed for marine applications.
With a comprehensive skill set encompassing epoxy-based, urethane, and automotive and marine grade paints, as well as custom color mixing, Roger consistently delivers flawless finishes to meet clients’ precise requirements.
His proficiency extends to woodworking, where he demonstrates mastery in a variety of finishing techniques and materials. With a rich background spanning prestigious roles at Ford Motors’ Paint Department in England to diverse marine and woodworking projects in British Columbia, Roger can transform your vision into reality.

1️⃣ Roger is not just a specialist in his field; he’s also a member and volunteer of the Cowichan Wooden Boat Society, which helps preserve, exhibit and display maritime heritage, especially wooden boats.
2️⃣ Beyond his love for all things nautical, Roger is also a connoisseur of vintage furniture. For over a decade, he owned a workshop dedicated to restoring antique furniture and pianos on the island—a testament to his craftsmanship and expertise.
3️⃣ Ever wondered whose hands crafted the exquisite wooden furniture and upholstery in Sir Elton John’s English residence? Look no further—Roger had the honour of working on those very pieces!
